Legend, Prodigy, Champion

I just finished the final book in the Legend Trilogy by Marie Lu, and honestly it is one of my favorite trilogies. I really liked that is was told from both Day and June’s point of views. Lu is an amazing job at developing the two characters. During Legend Day and June had such different mindsets. Day is the most wanted criminal by the Republic, and he hates everything about it. June on the other hand is the most celebrated prodigy and is brainwashed with their lies. Lu does and an incredible job at writing from two totally opposite views.

(Warning Potential Spoilers)

This series had a perfect ending. The ending of Champion made me cry, but it was so sweet and cute. Champion is the most suspenseful book because Day is dying, and the Colonies are invading and you don’t know who is going to be alive in the end. Day and June’s ending was perfect.

I would definitely recommend these books, if you want a different take on dystopian societies. They are action-packed and unique compared to most dystopian novels.
